Last night's fatal shooting in Meath is being described as a 'significant' escalation in Dublin's gangland war.
Noel Duggan, who was a close ally of crime boss Gerard 'The Monk' Hutch, was killed in a car outside his home in Ratoath.

Gardaí are due to hold a press conference later on the 55-year-old's death, which they believe may be linked to the feud between the rival Hutch and Kinahan families.
Noel Duggan had previous convictions for burglary and receiving stolen goods, as well as a tax bill for smuggling cigarettes.
