The HSE is being called on to clarify as soon as possible what health services in Clare will be impacted by plans to cut 130 million euro from its budgetary spend.
Under the proposals, the number of agency staff will be halved, overtime will be cut by ten percent while home help hours will be reduced by 600, thousand.

The impact of cuts in each region isn’t yet known but is likely to include bed and theatre closures, particularly at weekends.
