It’s feared a toll on the new Shannon Tunnel could deter people from using it.
The tunnel is expected to open by September and is expected to provide significant traffic relief on conjested routes around Limerick and South East Clare.
The toll road will cost one euro eighty to use, and Killaloe Councillor Cathal Crowe hopes motorists will think it’s worth the cost.
