The Fianna Fail parliamentary party has backed a motion rejecting the proposed extension of Limerick City into Clare.
Clare Fianna Fáil TD Timmy Dooley used this week’s meeting of the party to tell the Taoiseach and members of the Cabinet that he will not support any legislation to move Westbury and Shannon Banks into a new Limerick Authority.
