The government's been accused of allowing banks to exploit a loophole in the laws around mortgage arrears.
Fianna Fáil has published what it says is emergency legislation to fill the loophole – because the government won't do so itself.

Earlier this year the Supreme Court ruled that banks could breach most of the Central Bank's Code of Conduct on Mortgage Arrears, but still be granted the right to repossess a home.
Finance spokesman Michael McGrath says urgent action is needed
