A film studio has signed an agreement with Limerick City and County Council to takeover the former Dell building in Castletroy.
Subject to planning permission, Troy Studios will establish a studio facility there by the middle of next year, catering for film and TV productions.

Troy Studios is understood to be closely linked with the Wicklow-based Ardmore Studios.
The project is the first-of-its-kind in the MidWest, and previous estimates say it could create 750 new jobs and be worth 70 million euro to the local economy.
