The clare Fine Gael candidates set to join the party ticket in contesting the upcoming general election will be selected this evening.
Four names are in the hat – the two sitting deputies Pat Breen and Joe Carey, along with north clare local representative Martin Conway and former TD and Senator Madeline Taylor Quinn.
It’s expected that two of the nominees will be selected at tonight’s convention while its belived a third would be added at a later date by the party HQ
