The Job Minister says the expenses and bonuses incurred by Michael Fingleton are totally inappropriate.
It comes amid reports that the former Irish Nationwide Chief Executive ran up charges of 88,000 euro in expenses – including dental work after he left his post in 2009.
Anglo Irish Bank – which now runs the building society – has written to Michael Fingleton inviting him to return the money and a controversial one million euro bonus he received in 2008.
