Clare fire-fighters battled for almost 24 hours to bring a major bog fire under control over the weekend.
Crews at Ennis were alerted to the blaze at Craghera Bog near Cranny shortly after 11 on Friday night.
Fire-fighters from Kilrush were then called into assist overnight while crews from Ennistymon were also drafted in to help as a new blaze broke out at Lisroe near Kilmaley.

Coilte personnel from East Clare brought in equipment to help while the coastguard helicopter assessed the situation from the air.
