Five Clare primary schools are getting an extra teacher.
National schools in Liscannor, Lahinch, Tuamgraney, St Tola’s in Shannon, and St. Mochulla’s in Tulla are all to benefit following an announcement by Minister Batt O’Keefe, while Lough Cutra National School near Gort will also gain another teaching post.
The posts were allocated to primary schools that had increased enrolments in the current school year and who lost out on a teaching post in the current year by a small number of pupils.
