Over thirty people have been evacuated from their houses in Cork city overnight – after a burst water mains sent tens of thousands of gallons of water flooding through their homes.
A mains pipe burst on Old Youghal Road at around 2.30 am, resulting in water cascading down the Fever Hospital Steps near Murphy’s Brewery.
