A player with a South East Clare GAA club has died while holidaying in Greece overnight.
Niall O’Brien, who’s in his 20s and played with Broadford GAA, died after being struck by a car on the island of Ios.
Mr O’Brien, from Castletroy in Limerick, had been holidaying with a group of 20 friends at the time.

It’s believed the Department of Foreign Affairs has been informed and is providing consular assistance to the the deceased man’s family.
