A former Clare Sinn Fein Councillor says she has no idea why she was expelled from the party.
Now an independent member of Shannon Town Council, Councillor Cathy McCafferty says she has moved on and is concentrating on other issues.

In February of this year, Sinn Fein TD Martin Ferris confirmed to Clare FM that Councillor McCafferty had been expelled from the party, but did not explain why.
