Four young women are dead after a car and van collided on a road in County Kildare last night.
It happened on the N78 at Burtown, near Athy at a quarter to ten.

Gardai say three of the women who lost their lives were 19 and the fourth was 20.
They were passengers in the car – the 20 year old driver was seriously injured and is being treated at Naas General Hospital, along with two men who were in the van.
