A Frenchman is due back in court in Ennis tomorrow charged with alleged air rage offences.
56-year-old Som Chanh was arrested yesterday morning after a flight carrying 300 passengers from Paris to Montreal was diverted to Shannon Airport.

The Paris resident is charged with being intoxicated, as well as being engaged in offensive and threatening behaviour on board the flight.
He was remanded on bail of €1,000 to appear before the District Court again tomorrow, on condition that he surrender his passport and reside in Ennis tonight.
