Explosions have rocked Tripoli overnight, as Western forces stage fresh air strikes against Gaddafi’s regime in Libya.
One raid has flattened a building in the dictator’s residence.

It comes as Gaddafi’s army announced a new ceasefire – but the US accused Tripoli of breaching it immediately.
Meanwhile, US Defence Secretary Robert Gates says American control of the operation against Libya – could be handed over within days.
A coalition could possibly be led by Britain, France or NATO.
