Concern has been expressed about a threatened cut in cardiac services at Ennis General
Clare FM understand that in-patient cardiology services are to be fully transferred to Limerick Regional Hospital from next February.
Diagnosis and after-care services will remain in place at Clare’s county hospital, but as things stand, it appears the county is to lose its high dependency hospital unit.

Clare FM has contacted the HSE in relation to this matter but is still awaiting a response.
