The Clare family of a man who died in an altercation outside a London pub, have expressed delight at the news that his case will be the subject of fresh investigations.
21 year old Wayne Kelly, who’s parents Martin and Tina are from Clarecastle and Ennis, died in April 2005 after he suffered more that 20 injuries, and though a number of people were arrested following his death, no charges were brought.
An inquest into his death in London has been adjourned this week, after Barnet Coroners Court referred the case back to the Crown Prosecution Service for investigation.
Wayne’s sister Stacey told Clare FM it’s a welcome result for the family’s campaign to bring those responsible for his death to justice.
