The government is being called up to respond to a request from Clare County Council for funds to repair storm damage.

The application was submitted following severe weather in February for almost 21 million euro.
The coaltion did allocate 16.8 million from an earlier request however as of yet Clare County Council has yet to hear back and the Chief Executive and Engineer say the delay is causing real difficulties.
Independent Cllr Christy Curtin says people are very frustrated.
