An extradition hearing is due to take place today for a fugitive sex-offender arrested at Dublin Airport on Monday night.
Pakistani national My-Ann Sha-heed has been convicted of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman in England.

He appeared before the High Court in Dublin yesterday after being arrested on Monday night on board an Emirates flight which was moments from taking off to Dubai. He was last seen in Foynes, Co. Limerick early last month.
Shahid is wanted in Britain – where Stafford Crown Court convicted him in April of sexual assault – and sentenced him to 30 months in prison.
