Nearly a quarter of a million euro has been allocated for the repair of storm-damaged piers along Clare's coast.
Over half of the money will be spent at Liscannor, with nearly 66,000 euro going to Ballyvaughan while 18,000 euro each will be spent at Seafield and Kilbaha.

The money comes in addition to the 16.8 million euro already given to Clare County Council to deal with the aftermath of the severe weather earlier this year.
