Elderly care services in Clare have been boosted with funds of 84,000 euro.
The Department of Health has sanctioned 42,000 euro towards the purchase of a wheelchair accessible bus for Carrigoran Nursing Home and Day Care Centre in Newmarket on Fergus, while the same amount has been provided towards the cost of constructing a purpose build dementia day care wing in Clarecastle.
