Over 120 national schools across Clare have been given a significant funding boost, in order to invest in high tech equipment
Schools in the county have been allocated 696,000 euro as part of a 24 million euro government grant, aimed at making technology an integral part of the learning process.
All schools get a block grant of 17 hundred euro with the average payment here in Clare between 2 and 5 thousand euro , while several of the larger premises in Ennis and Shannon will receive over 20 thousand euro.
