Funding to the tune of almost €200,000 has been granted to three community projects in Clare.
Fáilte Ireland and the Department of Rural and Community Development have allocated €11 million in total to outdoor recreation projects around the country.
Among that is an upgrade and extension of the riverwalk in Ennistymon worth €69,000; while the People’s Park in Clarecastle will receive a €49,500 overhaul.

The Cragg Looped Trail in Tulla, meanwhile, will see €75,000 spent on the construction of a walking trail.
