A new cystic fibrosis unit in the Mid West has been given a funding boost.

Charity organisation TLC 4 CF, who fund raise for services and facilities for cystic fibrosis sufferers in Clare, Limerick and Tipperary, have been awarded 150 thousand euro from the national lottery fund.
The monies will go towards the construction of a new CF accommodation unit at the Mid West Regional Hospital in Dooradoyle.
Fund-raising for the estimated 4.2 million euro facility is continuing but the announcement has been welcomed by many including Clare Fianna Fail TD Timmy Dooley .
