Two North Clare communities are to share a quarter of a million euro in government funding to allow for an upgrade of marine infrastructure.
In Lahinch, nearly 190 thousand euro is to be spent on upgrade works along the Promenade while in works will also be carried out on stone paving at Liscannor pier, as well as an upgrade of existing public lighting.

That project will cost 145,000 euro, with 75% of the total moneys coming from central government.
