The funeral will take place in Ballina today of the young man who died in a road accident in Co Laois at the weekend.
Locals and in Ballina and Killaloe have expressed shock and sadness at the death of James McKeogh of Gurtlassobrien, Boher, who lost his life on the M7 on Saturday morning, while he was on his way home.
The 26 year old engineer and hurler will be laid to rest in Ballina Church Ground today following 11.30 mass in Boher Church.

He’s survived by his parents, grandmothers, sisters, girlfriend and other relatives and friends.
