A new survey shows the average asking price for a house in Clare dropped by over 3% from April to June of this year, and now stands at just over 182 thousand euro.
According to property website Daft.ie, the average asking price for a residential property nationally stood at 196-thousand euro in June – 14 thousand more than here in Clare.
In Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick asking prices fell by 5.7 per cent between April and June, though here in Clare the drop was a smaller 3.4 per cent.

However, prices here have dropped by an average of 125 thousand euro since the height of the property boom.
