Further Nuclear Problems In Japan

There are further concerns over a Japanese nuclear plant following Friday’s earthquake and tsunami.

The cooling system has failed at a third reactor at Fukushima, while another explosion has also been reported at the complex.

Strong aftershocks – one measuring 6.1 – are continuing across north-east Japan.

This morning, two thousand bodies were found on two shores near Sendai.

Meanwhile, Tokyo’s stock market has plummeted by more than 6 per cent today.

Many of the country’s biggest factories have had to suspend output after the quake and tsunami.

Japan’s central bank has injected 85-point-5 billion dollars into the country’s economy to try to calm nerves.
