A 22 year old Galway man, charged with the murder of Ardrahan pensioner Finbarr Fahy, has been further remanded in custody until next Wednesday
Gearoid Fahy of Carrownamona, Ardrahan in Co Galway appeared before Shannon District Court sitting in Ennis this afternoon
He is charged with murdering the 78 year old widower whose body was found at his home at Ballinduff, Ardrahan last Wednesday

There was no objection from Mr Fahy’s defence to the remand and the court heard that there will be no application for bail at this time
Mr Fahy will appear before Ennis District Court on the 25th November
