Sub zero temperatures and rain overnight are causing havoc on Clare’s Roads again this morning with black ice reported on routes right across the county.
The dangerous conditions have lead to the cancellation of several Bus Eireann school bus runs in North Clare
They are the Kevin McNamara’s Inagh to Ennistymon bus and the Corofin to Ennistymon
Scales’ two services to Ennistymon are also off
Also two of the Mol an Oige buses are also affected. The Ennis to Ennistymon bus has been cancelled as has the Corofin to Ennistymon..
Elsewhere, Route 333 Doonbeg/Ennis – 7.45 service ex Doonbeg has not been serving Kilfenora and Corofin
Meanwhile drivers are being warned of patches of black ice on the M18/ N18 Ennis to Limerick road . it follows an earlier collision at Setright’s Cross.
Conditions in East Clare are particularly bad around Feakle and Scarriff, in West Clare- sections of the Kilkee to Kilrush Road are described as dangerous along with parts of the main Ennis to Kilrush Road.

Parents of pupils attending the CBS Primary School in Ennis are being reminded that its closed to students today due to some frozen pipes and health and safety issues.
A decision on whether it will reopen tomorrow will be made some time this afternoon and Clare FM will have an update on the decision later in the day.
