The Shannon Area continues to be affected by water restrictions – the supply will be off again today from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and again from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 am, with water available from Static standpipes at Bealach Bri and Dun Aras 12 to 5 and at Woodcross, Cratloe, from 5pm until 7.
Water will be off in Tulla, Broadford & O’Callaghan’s Mills from 11 until 4 today and again at nightime from 8 to 8.
Clare County Council says pressure has now been restored to the Shannon Banks and Westbury Estates and water should now be available in these areas.
Night-time water restrictions are expected to continue in Sixmilebridge, Ruan, Lahinch, Liscannor, Lisdoonvarna, Doolin, Scarriff & Tuamgraney, and Newmarket on Fergus, Cratloe, Bunratty, and Kilmurray & Kilkishen.
In the Kilrush area water supply has been getting back to normal in Moyasta, Clarefield and Querrin, while in Ennis, ongoing shut offs in the Acha Bhile Estate on the Lahinch Road are to be reviewed later today.
