There’s been a major jobs boost today with the announcement of five-hundred new positions.
Pharmaceutical giant Mylan which already employs over 700 people here – is to expand operations in Galway and Dublin.

220 of the positions will be created at Bioniche Pharma in Connemara with the remainder at Gerard Laboratories in Baldoyle.
The Company which has been in Ireland since 1986- says it will invest up to 76 million euro a year between now and 2016 in creating the jobs.
