Gardai are appealing for witnesses to yesterday’s serious crash on the Ennis to Kilrush Road in which four people were injured including two young children.
The two car collision happened near Sheedy’s Shop at Darragh shortly before 3 o clock.
The driver of one of the cars a 22 year old woman along her two year old daughter remain in a seriously ill in hospital- but there injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening.
The woman’s five year old daughter who was also in the car, also sustained injuries as did the male driver of the second vehicle- but his injuries are believed to be minor.
The cars involved in the head on collision were a Toyota Avensis and a Citroen C five and Ennis Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
