Gardaí in Ennis are appealing for the public’s help in locating a missing 19-year-old, who’s believed to be armed with a gun.
Jack Dinan was last seen at his home on Considine Road, Ennis at approximately 10am yesterday morning.
He’s 6ft tall, of slim build with black hair. He wears a tooth brace on his upper teeth.
Jack may have been wearing a grey hoodie top, grey spot camouflaged jacket when he left home.
He may be in possession of a green rucksack and is believed to be armed with a licensed firearm and a number of rounds of ammunition.
Jack’s family are urging him to contact home.
Gardaí in Ennis are investigating and are urging members of the public not to approach him, but to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 6848100 or the emergency numbers 999 or 112.
Searches have been ongoing since late yesterday involving the Garda helicopter, while its understood the Garda Regional Support Unit has also joined the operation.
