Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a shop in Ennis in the early hours of this morning.
A man wearing a balaclava entered a shop on the Gort Road around 4am, armed with a metal bar.

He threatened staff and demanded they hand over money but he made his escape empty handed a short time later.
