Gardaí are appealing to people in Clare to ensure their cars are always locked, even if they’re only leaving them for a moment.
Thieves gained access to an unlocked car in Kilmaley overnight on May 16th, and stole the car’s radio.
In a separate incident in Ballyalla the following day, a man had a power tool taken from his unlocked van outside a shop, where he was distracted inside by an accomplice.
