Crusheen and Newmarket gear up for championship final clash
Kilrush Gardaí believe they’re making significant in-roads against illegal drugs activity in West Clare following a local seizure of cannabis and heroin.
Heroin worth 28,000 euro and Cannabis Resin with an estimated street value of 12,000 euro was recovered along with weighing scales and drugs paraphernalia on waste ground behind the John Paul Estate yesterday.
Gardaí from Kilrush were assisted in the search by the Garda dog unit from Limerick, and while no arrests have been made, it’s believed the seizure will disrupt the illegal activities of drug dealers operating in the West Clare area.
Kilrush Superintendent Gerry Wall told Clare FM, that arrests are likely to be made in the near future
