Gardaí appeal for help over missing Tulla Man

 

Gardaí  in East Clare are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a missing man.

61 year old Gerry Kelly was last seen in the Tulla area on Friday the 9th of August and his family are concerned for his safety.

However there was an unconfirmed sighting of the 61 year old last Friday – the 12th in the Tulla area.

He’s described as being five foot five in height, with brown hair cut tightly, a round face with a ruddy complexion.

Its not known what he was wearing when he disappeared but gardaí  say he regularly wore navy trousers, a white shirt and black shoes – He doesn’t have his mobile with him.

Gerry Kelly’s car – a silver Renault Clio, registration  10 CE 1172- was towed away from the Cliffs of Moher Car park on Monday.

However gardaí  say it may have been there last Friday – gone over the weekend – and then back again on Monday.

A coastline search from Doolin Pier for any sign of the 61 year is now underway this lunchtime amid growing concern for his safety .

Gardaí  are appealing to anyone with any information on his whereabouts to contact them either at Killaloe Garda Station on 061 -376242 or Tulla on 6835103
