Gardaí are appealing for information following a serious knife attack in Shannon in which a man was injured.
The victim was stabbed in the stomach as he answered a knock at the front door of his home in the Cluain Airne Estate at 6.30 yesterday morning.

He’s currently being treated at Limerick Regional Hospital but gardaí say his condition isn’t life threatening.
