A 25 year old man remains in a critical condition in hospital following a serious assault in Tipperary over the weekend.
It happened in Thurles in the early hours of Sunday morning and gardaí are quizzing a 22 year old in connection with the incident.

Two men in their 30s are due before Letterkenny District Court in Donegal today following a serious assault at the weekend which has left a man fighting for his life.
The 41-year-old victim was attacked at Glenard Park in Letterkenny shortly before midnight on Friday night.
He’s being treated at Letterkenny General Hospital for serious head injuries, thought to have been caused by a slash hook.
