Gardaí are appealing for the public’s help following a violent armed raid in Kilkee.

The incident happened at the Next Door near Myles’s Creek Off- Licence in the West Clare town on Monday night last.
A man, brandishing a knife entered the premises shortly after 9.30 and threatened the female staff member to hand over money.
Gardaí say he then smashed a bottle of wine in an attempt to intimidate her before escaping on foot with the contents of the till.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer Sergeant Joe Downey is urging anyone with information on the violent raid to contact them
