Ennis Gardai are appealing for witnesses following Thursday’s agrravated armed burglary at a house on the Kilrush Road.
Two men, one brandishing a hammer or mallet type weapon, gained access to the premises by breaking the glass on the rear door.
Once inside they threatened the occupant, held him captave and stole a RM Silver Laptop, a white HTC Wildfire phone and some cash.
They put the items in a pillowcase and fled in the direction of Carmody Street –
