Gardai are expected to launch a murder investigation following the discovery of a body on the Clare Limerick border.
The grim find was made by a member of the public in an area of open ground at Knocklisheen Meelick , near the Moyross Estate yesterday afternoon.

It’s believed the remains may be those of a 25 year old local Limerick man missing since last week.
The area was sealed off overnight and the road from Watchhouse Cross to Brennan’s Cross in Meelick was closed to traffic for a number of hours.
A post-mortem to determine the cause of death will be carried out later today
Locals in South East Clare are said to be shocked by the grim discovery on their doorsteps.
