It’s understood that CCTV footage led Gardaí to arrest a man on suspicion of murdering Laois woman Aoife Phelan.
The 30 year old childminder – who was four months pregnant – has not been seen for 12 days.

Gardaí in Portlaoise are questioning a 24 year old man in relation to her murder.
Searches are also taking place at a house in the town, although Gardaí won’t confirm reports that a dig is taking place at the rear of the property.
