Gardaí are prepared to protest outside the Dail – in their uniforms – as part of efforts to have their pay restored.
The unprecedented move follows claims that nine out of ten mid ranking Gardaí want the AGSI to engage in a work to rule.

While 84 percent of Garda sergeants and inspectors say pay is their number one issue.
The group has been meeting for their annual conference in Mayo where thieir President-elect – Antoinette Cunningham – said station closures remain a major problem for the association.
