Gardaí are attending the scene of a minor crash on one of the main arteries out of Ennis.
Two cars were involved in a collision in the past 30 minutes near Treacy’s West County Hotel on the Limerick Road.
Traffic is said to be backing up in the area and motorists are being urged to avoid the area if possible.

No injuries are reported and Gardaí are working to clear the scene.
UPDATE: This has since been cleared and the route is open once again
