Garda visibilty across Ennis is set to be increased over the coming weeks as a new initiative to get more officers on pedal petrols is introduced.
A intensive training course for the community gardai is now underway and once rolled out the cycle unit will be focused on public areas across the town as well as managing traffic around schools during opening and closing time.
