Clare Gardai have insisted they won’t tolerate reckless driving on the county’s roads as an investigation into a dangerous incident in the Killaloe area continues.
The Gardai in Killaloe have confirmed to Clare FM that footage of a group of young men driving dangerously, which was posted on the YouTube website, was filmed on roads around Ogonnelloe and Killaloe, and say they’re treating the matter very seriously.
The alarming video displaying young men hanging out of a fast moving modified car has prompted outrage among road safety groups, and two cars have been seized by Gardai who’ve also questioned a number of people.
