A ‘thank you’ event takes place tonight to honour the groups and individuals who helped organise events in Clare as part of The Gathering.
Over 250 Clare Gathering festivals and events were held last year, and the Banner County recorded the seventh-highest level of events per head of population of any county in Ireland.

Tonight, in an event at Shannon Airport, the Mayor of Clare Councillor Joe Arkins will present certificates acknowledging those who made a constribution.
